ESLI Youth Delegation Report-Back!The UN Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen from Our Perspective JAN 13, 2010 | The Women's Building | 6-7pm Community, educators, supporters, donors, family and friends! You are invited to join us next Weds, 1/13, for a special presentation by the ESLI Youth Delegation to the UN Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen! Delegates Gier Hernandez (Burton High School) and Lupita Troncoso (Abraham Lincoln High School) traveled to Copenhagen this past December as young leaders and activists who met with others from around the world to urge our leaders to take action on climate change. In their report-back they will showcase and discuss what happened on this incredible, eye-opening trip and what lessons were learned. A question and answer session will follow. The San Francisco Youth Unity Eco-FestJune 6, 2009 | Civic Center Park, San Francisco
We would like to invite you to participate in a groundbreaking environmental youth event in San Francisco this June 6, 2009 at the Civic Center Park in front of City Hall. The San Francisco Youth Unity Eco-Fest will be a daylong Environmental Summit and Green Block Party celebrating youth voice & power, raising awareness around environmental justice and connecting communities across the city! This inspiring day of learning and celebration is being entirely planned BY YOUTH, FOR YOUTH! The Youth Planning Committee is a group of 11 powerhouse SF High School Students recruited through the Environmental Service Learning Initiative (ESLI, a collaborative project lead by Global Exchange and Community Education Services) and the Youth Unity Coalition for Action Now (YU-CAN).
